I can't believe people forget to thaw the bird out ahead of time. Wait yes I can-- Deep down do people really dread the holidays and live vicariously through the pages of martha Stewart magazine?
One expert says it takes 1 day for each four pounds of frozen turkey to thaw --- honestly, why is the store so crowded the day before thanksgiving-- it can only be poor planning on the part of these people . Winging it I suppose, what purpose does that serve, adding the excitement I don't think so-- Why don't people practice with entertaining their neighbors throughout the year?? Wait nobody knows their neighbors, wait that's my neighborhood, all these convenience foods the time saved has been filled by spending time on the internet. good grief
Sounds like great fun. I kept wondering how you manage to have so many families to have 10 days together at holiday time. You all just make it a priority. I think you have all figured out what "it" is about. Have a great holiday!
